Hi Troop 75 Ohana,
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Troop 75 Dads! I hope your all having a great Father's Day weekend! It was a beautiful weekend for our annual Family Camp at the Queen Liliuokalani Children's Center. A HUGE MAHAL0S to Jason Furuta for making it all possible! MAHALOS to all the Scout's, Adult Leaders, Parent's and Siblings who participated. Thank You!
The Scout's as well as the Adults had a very fun and educational weekend. The weather was gorgeous! Hot! But we had the tropical breeze to keep us cool. Our Saturday started with an awesome presentation by people from the Polynesian Voyaging Society. Then we did a Family Canoe building activity, we learned about navigation by the Stars, and how the Star Compass works. These activities we're a run by actual crew members from the Hokulea. We broke for lunch and the Boys spent the rest of the day participating in fun Team Building exercises. We had a very nice, and very ono dinner. And we topped off our Saturday evening with a cozy Campfire and Smores afterwards.
A HUGE MAHALOS to all the Mom's and Siblings. Thank You for joining us! You definitely brightened our weekend! . MAHALO Mom's and everyone who help prepare the delicious Father's Day Breakfast and for cleaning up the Kitchen and Dining Room! Thank You for all the delectable desserts, your hard work and love! Mahalo to everyone who donated School Supplies!
MAHALOS to Iron Chef/Grillmasters, Jason Furuta, Vernon Verzon, Dan Kiyohiro, and Ken Nagamine. Thank You to all of the Dad's! Mahalos for the support and dedication. Thank You to Vernon Verzon, Dan Kiyohiro and Todd Kaetsu for transporting all the gear. It takes so many people to make a successful event like this happen. Thank You all!!
Aloha,
Mr. Al
