Pearl City Lions Breakfast 2017

Pearl City Lions Breakfast
2/10/17

Hi Troop 75 Ohana,

I hope your staying dry and keeping warm. Oh my goodness where did all this rain come from! To say it was a rainy day would be an understatement. There we're times of heavy down pours, thunder and flooding! We needed rubber boots and a boat today. But we adapted and we did very well!

A HUGE MAHALOS to all the Scout's and Parents who came out this morning to help the PC Lions Club with their Annual Valentine's Breakfast. In spite of the rain, we had a great turnout of Scout's. I was surprised by the number of Patrons who showed up, rain and all.

The Scout's did an excellent job of helping inside the Café, and assisting and directing people to and from the Café. They even helped with bailing water at the foot of the stairs and sidewalk. Helped dig trenches so the water could drain. They did it all. They got a little wet, but they had fun. I had so many compliments from the Lions Club and Patrons as well. The PC Lions Club was extremely grateful for all of our hard work. I'm so proud of our Boys! You guys rock! You earned 6 service project hours if you we're there the whole time.

Mahalos to Jason Furuta for organizing and coordinating with the PC Lions Club. Thank You to the Parents and Adult Leaders who helped out. I apologize for not being there at 6:00 a.m. I had a work emergency. But I managed to make it up there by 8:00 a.m.

Just a friendly reminder, tomorrow morning is Scout Sunday. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Main Chapel. Let's meet in the parking lot at 10:00 a.m.  Pack 75 will be joining us. Hope to see you there.

Aloha,
Mr. Al
